It was an incredible experience working with Holly and shooting her Senior Portraits! And Jane and Kenzie of course, too! Jane is her snake and she is pink and yellow! It is literally the prettiest snake I have ever seen! And Kenzie is the sweetest dog! And...she loves to read! Makes my heart happy when I see a young person reading! Good for the soul! Holly also loves art and her favorite quote..."Keep your eyes on the stars, and your feet on the ground" ~Theodore Roosevelt
Holly is graduating this year from Rockwall High School and is interested in entering the field of nursing. I asked her if she could do/be anything what would it be. She said "I want to be a volunteer nurse on a mission trip to somewhere that people really need the help." What an amazing goal and heart to have!
While we set out in what felt like sub zero temperatures, Holly hung on like a champ. She even made her outfit changes in the our little changing pod, which I assure you is not heated! We took advantage of the awesome and colorful walls of Deep Ellum. It is always an adventure in Deep Ellum because it is constantly changing. We found so many great places that worked so well and coordinated with her outfits. And while we were there we were able to grab a few family photos as well! It is always wise to take a few pictures with family and/or a friend while doing your Senior Portrait Session. This is such a special time!
After we completed our adventure in Deep Ellum, we headed to a nearby record store. Holly loves old Rock N' Roll and it was a great place for her to show who she is at this time in her life. These are some of my favorite portraits of the session! I hope you enjoy seeing these portraits! It was a pleasure and an honor to photograph such a wonderful person!
